The food in the diet plan can be changed for items in the same food group only (Protein, Carbs, and Fat). For example, instead of chicken you can have turkey. Instead of rice you can have potatoes. If you swap a food type (i.e. replacing turkey with pasta) you will not achieve your goal and you will be cheating yourself.
